Cocomelon birthday party! If you have a toddler, you’ve probably heard of Cocomelon. And if you’ve heard of Cocomelon, your child is probably obsessed. I’m in that same boat with our almost 2 year old daughter. I’ve decided to go with the flow and celebrate her second birthday with all things Jay Jay, Cody and Cocomelon!

Cocomelon Birthday Party
Celebrating birthdays is always a great excuse for a party. Celebrating them with little kids is the BEST. There are tons of amazing ideas out there for birthday themes from characters and sports to florals and dogs. We decided to go with what our girl loves this year – all things Cocomelon! I’m talking Jay Jay, watermelon, school buses and rainbows.
There are a couple birthday party basics I always stick with – balloons, themed outfit and themed cake. Honestly, this is all you really need to set the mood for your celebration. Whether it’s a first birthday party or a 7th, a little bit goes a long way. Secondary items include themed cutlery, party favors and serving dishes.

Birthday Party
For our Cocomelon party, we are not inviting guests. Therefore, I need enough to get our little one excited (hence the Cocomelon cutouts) and to take a couple cute photos for our memory books. If you want to go all out and take it further then I tend to, you can always google search for additional Cocomelon decorations. Amazon, Walmart and Etsy are all GREAT resources!
You can also just double the balloons. Seriously, balloons are what makes the party a party! You can create balloon arches, add helium so they float or spread them across the floor for everyone to kick around.

Party Food
Cupcakes or Cake? Depending on your preference you’ll either want an adorable cake topper, Cocomelon cupcake toppers or both! I always say don’t waste money on crazy candles. You can take photo’s with your dessert before sticking the candles in and they only last 30 seconds before they’re in the garbage.
I personally prefer cupcakes if it’s a big party so I’m not stuck serving everyone. Cupcakes are easy to grab and clean up is a breeze. Try these ice cream cups to pair as well if you like to go all out 🙂
Cocomelon Birthday Party

Can you imagine your Cocomelon lovin’ little one walking down the steps to a huge Jay Jay balloon? TOTALLY WORTH IT!
These were great a fun one for party guests to take home. It really pulled together the pastel balloons and theme of the party
These were great for making the party girly. Cocomelon colors are a little bold compared to what we were going for so this made everything softer and more girly.
**Don’t forget your Helium Tank!
Okay, absolutely obsessed with this dress. It does run a little big so we had to tie the back with balloon string. I would read reviews and purchase knowing its a bit larger.
Good luck letting everyone pick their favorite cupcake! To be on the safe side let the birthday boy or girl go first!
Absolutely adorable option to pull a simple cake into the theme while also making it look custom.
These are easily a number one choice because after the cake is eaten, you can wash them off and have new Cocomelon toys!
No words needed. So adorable!
Even better than the watermelon according to my kids!
These are a great way to dress up the birthday chair! Our baby is still in her high chair which isn’t really a trendy looking chair so these add just the right touch for a photo of her enjoying her cake!
Adorable. She’ll absolutely love it.
Other great decorations
Here are some of the decorations not listed above. We found these at Walmart and they were so affordable! Also cute, which is the number one priority.
