Welcome back! I am so excited to take a look at my October blog income report and measure my progress towards goals. Be sure to check out my August Income Report to see how far I’ve come!

As a refresher, I am a previously full time corporate employee who now blogs and works from home part time. I talk about this transition in my August Income Report and how you can make a lifestyle change like mine work for you.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, sharing my blog income report makes me cringe BUT I think its important to give you this glimpse into real results for those who are ready to try a different lifestyle themselves. I want everyone to lead a life that they love and reading posts JUST LIKE THIS finally helped me make the change for myself and my family.

INCOME REPORT GOALS

For ease of comparison, a screen shot of my goals from my previous income report are below.

GOAL 1

Let me be completely honest… I CANNOT BELIEVE I MADE $100 FROM MY BLOG!!! Seriously, I just threw this number out there and I reached this goal by the skin on my teeth! I started off the month SO STRONG and was building off of ground work I had already laid. I am so proud of myself for hitting this goal. Overall, my income statement is up by $121 from August.

GOAL 2

My second goal was based around Pinterest – my main marketing tool for my blog. I have not completely met this goal BUT I have made really great progress. A snip of my current stats are below.

CURRENT FOLLOWERS: 317 | GOAL FOLLOWERS: 350

CURRENT MONTHLY VIEWS: 704,700 | GOAL MONTHLY VIEWS: 500,000

GOAL 3

Okay, my progress towards this goal started off strong and then trailed off as did my posting consistency due to life! The biggest distractor this month was that I painted all of my bedroom furniture. The good news is I applied updates to SEO on some of the post that can actually perform well this holiday season and that by painting my bedroom furniture, I have new content to share with you!

GOALS FOR THE REST OF 2021

I have a lot of goals for November & December but they are less measurable by numbers so not as fun for you guys to read.

The one goal I do have that’s measurable is to have a total of $500+ of profit from my blog across my accounts. This would include my advertising account and all of my affiliate marketing accounts.

Other than that my goals center around my forward strategy on my blog. I want LowcountryKings to be a place people come for lifestyle inspiration, to learn about blogging and also to learn about life in the Lowcountry! This part of my blog will be my main focus starting in mid-December.

My next income report will be shared sometime in January so keep an eye out for what’s to come!
